OK don't worry about the power led.

Put the cables as seen in the above post, have all the labels on the cables facing the bottom of the case, except the speaker turn it the other way. It is fairly easy.

If you cant manage to do that leave all the other cables and just concentrate on the power sw , you know what pins to put them in so trial and error to see which way around to put it at.

To turn on a computer you need to use the power button. What motherboard is it? It will say on it, if you can provide me this information I can help you out further. Because you are not familiar everything is just going to look a mess.

Usually they are both labeled on the mobo and the cable, on the mobo it will say Power Sw - for the power button cable labeled Power Sw put that in the place of the two pins usually the label on the cable facing you.

An easier way to see if the PSU is alive is to listen when plugging in the kettle lead to the PSU and if you hear a electric sound then you know there is power. You need to make sure the PowerButton cable is plugged into the correct pins on the board. iIf you can supply me with the name and model number of it I can search for the manual for you.
