*sigh* @ "Crysis 2 no DX11 patch confirmed". Sometimes I just get angry at what goes around the Internet. No patch has been announced. When it's announced, it'll be on My Crysis. That's all that was said. Meanwhile, Crytek ARE working on DX11 effects for C2 (C2 = Crysis 2 btw).
[QUOTE="bakalhau90"]One guy on NeoGAF reports 50-60 on Skyline with his 460. *sigh* I get 35 at the lowest but it's usually 40-50, sometimes 55.Crypt_mx
After some more extensive playing time i have noticed that my fps is more around 40 than 35.
Yeah but still... I only get 35 in some view points.
At level 15 you unlock the dungeon finder - 5-man groups to run dungeons. Once you hit 85 you'll be doing 10/25-man raids. All characters can run dungeons. Select your role, select the dungeons, and queue.
Ok so ive booted up the demo and played a game watching the framerate. The performance is acceptable, I was hoping for a bit more, as it is on par with my performance in the beta.
My Rig:
GTX 285 1gb (factory clock)
Intel Core i7 920 2.66(factory clock)
12gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
My performance on highest settings available in Demo(Hardcore, 1920x1080 Resolution)
*Updated after playing on Skyline.
Lowest:28fps
Highest:52fps
Average:35fps

Good to see I'm not the only one doing those frames with exactly the same graphic card (and CPU and RAM lol). I see people with a 460GTX getting like 45 average though? When a 460 has nearly the same performance as a 285? (some games runs 2fps faster, others 2 fps slower...)
[QUOTE="bakalhau90"]There seems to be a good amount of AA being applied, I can barely see any jaggies standing still at 1680x1050. I'm sure I'd get like 60fps with my GTX285 if it wasn't for that...ferret-gamer
Crysis 2 doesn't use MSAA i believe but a postprocess AA mixed with temporal for far away stuff. Still taxes the system, would like to try it without AA...
