I watched the entire show from the pre-roll till after the credits. No Emblem

Part of my proof is a question someone sent in the question was "is this running in Unreal Engine 3" and the guy replyed "ah someone has a good eye, yes it is" then they went on talking about the nice effects. Another question was about the sniper and it was about "is it one hit kill anywhere on the body"

There was also the scene in the demo where he was cutting down a barricade made of barbed wire. I also know he played as the sniper in one part.

Alright I know a few others had this issue as well, I earned the "All Hands On Deck!"  emblem for watching the Battlestations: Midway xbox live demo, and yes I watched it live, when the emblem was given out I had it on my profile for a a few days then it stopped appearing and still has not reappeard yet, almost a month later.

Is there anyway to fix this for it to reappear, I know some emblems disappear but they always come back later on, this just wont come back at all. Is there anyway to fix this problem?

I can see exactly where you are commming from, My union is around the 230 member mark, but yet only a handfull are active and keep the union alive, you can agree since I know HCU has a few thousand members but only so many actually use the union. Same with the news updates, my officers and I are always putting up the latest news, sometimes we get comments and sometime it will always have 0, this gives the feeling that people are not always looking on the front page, thats why I just made a union survey to find out the facts. Again you can call me a hipocrite because Im always on HCU but I do not post very often. Now because I am not interested in the community but I use HCU as a news source for all my HL2 needs. But I guess you can see where im comming from. GameSpot needs a way of advertising unions, like you had it, put unions as alternative news sources under the gamepages. The things I have done for advertising my union was actually going to the gamepages and posting an ad for my union under the forums to let people know we exsist. The other method is just having members with linked user sigs or bars to the union. Im constantly trying to make content to bring people back but also trying to get new members aswell, I know what you mean, its hard.

There are some things that I would like to say about this. First I do support Sent's ideas 100% and I highly believe GameSpot is ignoring unions all together. Yes there are unions that are high and mighty such as HCU, which I say that because of certain reasons that I will get to in a minute. But there are also the little guys, some of which are not lv 20 unions but are usually around level 3-4. It seems Gamespot does not pay attention to "the little guys" per say. Like others have said , some unions work their ass off to get where they are and they are proud of the work they have put in to get to that position. Then there are the larger unions, usually above lv 10, not to point any fingers but yes there are unions that spam the living crap out of their forums with irrelivant threads and posts that stray far far away on what the union actually focus' on. They do this just for the sheer levels, again not to point fingers but some larger unions boards are all spam just so they can have the high level just so they seem better and can get more recognized. I have seen smaller unions that area a low level (below 5) that do a hell of a better job at covering news and keeping on track than the high level union that claims they are better due to the higher level.

I agree all the way that the level system has got to go, yes people are going to complain because they have a rival, but thats not the point, if you think your better than them then show it, if you truely are then people will use your union. I just want to say that there are alot of little guys out there such as my union, I am very proud of my union and my union has and are going to accomplish amazing things that other unions are not even close to, but yet we are not that "highly" recognized because we are lost in the mass of unions.

You can see my union here.
I put alot of hard work into making and managing my union, my little pride and joy. Once you see what we have accomplished and what we are doing you will see that smaller unions are bigger than you think.

GameSpot has to go through all the unions and see which are DOA and send a warning that if your union does not get active in 30 days it will be deleted, GameSpot also needs to get active in endorsements, Sentinalrv you said they stopped after 3 which is true. They should go through and actually look at each union and determine if they are "endorsement" material, there are unions that are on the mark for news and go even farther and get union exclusive news and previews that even GameSpot does not even cover.

I know Im ranting on here but smaller unions like mine that go the extra 10 miles that most large unions havent deserve more attention when it comes to this new upgrade (if it happens).

Sentinalrv, you are the leader of a fantastic union that not only looks great but is on the ball because HCU focuses on what its meant to do. Thats what a good union is supposed to me. I do my best to make my union what it is and my members highly appreciate it.

technically it wouldnt ruin the system, I was just setting an example, it can easily be www.gamespot.com/unions/your_union_name It can also be a feature for leaders of a certain level or get your union "approved" by gamespot to have a more direct url.

Also I wanted to say, well this is more of a site feature than unions, but a site based instant messenger. I have been to a few forums where they have this feature, its like a faster pm system but instead of checking your pm's the actual window pops up and u can talk to that person like a messenger. There are alot of people i have to contact and alot of people never check their pm's so its near impossible to contact them if their profile is not filled out with contact info.

I had an idea to add, im not sure if it has been mentioned but having a custom URL. I know HCU has www.hcunion.com directed to the union but for people who which cannot do that have it like

www.gamespot.com/your_union_name_here

My union very soon will be doing stuff that requires a smaller and shorter url for ease of access. So for example my unions current URL is:

http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=KOUnion

instead have it so its:

http://www.gamespot.com/mwunion

just a thought that could be possible, it can be an option in the admin control panel to change the url for your union, so www.gamespot.com will be fixed but you can change the end to anything you want.

I really put alot of work and effort into my union to make it the best resource for what we do.
