My point: stand up comedy, like fiction, is not NECESSARILY a medium where EACH creative choice should be interpreted as voicing the author’s opinion.
Examples: Anthony Jesselnick, Chris Delia, Louis CK, Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, etc.
@zyxe: Then that's the problem of the person analyzing it if that person wants to extrapolate things. It's basically trying to guess what the author's intent was.
It's fiction, it doesn't need to check all the politically correct boxes.
