PS1 had a pretty bad library. Other then its RPGs it was lacking.

please tell me what it was lacking, ps1 had basically every type of genre and game type you could possibly want, it outsold the n64 for a reason. Other than mario, zelda, starfox the N64 was lacking
Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and anything else Rare did....
Wait....What?! I've had a busy week at work, no time to check GS until tonight and I find out this atrocity happened. What a disturbing chain of events, especially for Gerstmann who has been here for so long. At least he will get a job with a respectable gaming site now that the truth is out about him being an HONEST reviewer. As for GS in general, I'll only be visiting the forums, unfortunately though that will still give them hits which I hate to see. And as for Eidos, I could care less they made a mediocre game to go with their vast collection of mediocrity and I've only ever bought 2 or 3 of their games in my life.
Are people claiming now that Uncharted wasn't hyped AAA?
Seriously people...at least360 playersare being man enough to admit that Mass Effect flopped at Gamespot. Uncharted received AAA scores elsewhere as did Mass Effect. So, seriously, just get over it. Uncharted was hyped AAA...anyone that says otherwise is just trying to save face.

how bout you look at the poll above the messages you clown :|
GS's reviews are getting a little crazy. Halo 3, and Crysis both get 9.5's, which I see as a little high. Then we have Ratchet and Clank getting lower than everywhere else, AC getting higher praise than everywhere else, and now it seems like Mass Effect and Uncharted, both AAA on GR have got 8's and 8.5's respectively. However those are just scores, which mean little. What worries me is the substance of the reviews seem to be a little lacking, espeically how they do 2 page reviews for games other sites are getting up to 4 or 5 pages. No Kasavin=Gamespot losing its position as the most trusting source for reviews, IMO of course.
It's amazing how the top selling game of the month was still a 360 game, I'm guessing that's why it sees so much 3rd party love even with this onslaught of Wii.
