Yeah. Before they were bought by EA or after?

Which is the better Bioware?

Still great. BioWare make great games so EA don't need to "improve" them.

There's no difference.
They've been creating superb games both before and after their partnership with EA.

EA and BioWare have a parent/group relationship; Activision and Blizzard(I'm assuming?) had a merger.

I was speaking mostly of IW.

Well they were better before EA, but it's not EA's fault they#re yet to reach the heights of Baldurs Gate, KOTOR and NWN. The games they've released with EA are still ridiculously good.

There's been little change really, give them time.

Well, for one they're keeping their word about DLC supports. Although not all DLCs are good, and some are not worth the money, at least BioWare is keeping the word.

I was expecting some screenies of games through the ages, or at least a list :|. EA have just let Bioware do their thing so I have no complaint, the recent DA being the same across platforms is a shame but thats the way the industry is going...

BioWare was bought by EA on October 2007, so let's see.

PRE-EA : Shattered Steel, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, MDK2, Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide, Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire.

POST-EA: Mass Effect, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Mass Effect Galaxy, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3.

I vote: Awesome PRE-EA, Awesome POST-EA.

The only difference is that they're more in your face about DLC now.

They havent slipped yet. But neither has DICE so we atleast know EA wont make bad decisions.

I prefer PRE-EA, only because there are more games (Mass Effect 1 and Jade Empire being my favourite).

Great vs Great. Tough choice.

It might be a different story if they were owned by Activision though...

I think EA has learned their lessons regarding developer acquisition. Many of their recent games have been quite good.
