This is awesome. I have been hoping these games would come to Switch as it is my preferred way to play these types of games. Very underrated JRPG series. Highly recommended to anyone that likes turn-based JRPGs. The series is very much a multi-parts story though, so anyone looking forward to this on Switch should play the first two on PS4, both of which are available on PS Now.

@kadin_kai: Very good point, not to mention that those Chinese companies own large amount of stocks in almost all American/Western companies you can think of, meaning that if Tencent, Alibaba and so on were to struggle, it would have direct effect on companies around the world.

@professor_megaman: I've been waiting for DQXI on Switch, and was hoping for an earlier release like everyone else. But I am so happy I waited, the orchestrated soundtrack and Japanese VO make it totally worth the wait.

@videogameninja: There was a pretty good run of cool DB rpgs on SNES in Japan, so I don't think the concept is a problem. Realizing it into a good game in 2019 is a different matter, but I am certainly interested.

@Gelugon_baat: Well if you have to put "the two Joe's" as one entity, I guess you are right... but according to Joe Madureira in his interview for Gameumentary's documentary on Gunfire Games and Darksiders 3, he really wasn't very involved at all. I do agree that his characters are more often than not very unidimensional, although I like the art in general.

To be fair, I played the first game and thought it was ok, played the second one and got bored half-way through, and do not intend to play this third one at all.

@Gelugon_baat: You do realize that Joe Madureira was barely involved in Darksiders 3 right? He was consulted for the design of Fury but that is about it. He is now working at Airship Syndicate, not Gunfire Games. And he was definitely not involved in the writing of this game. While most of the lore and artwork is influenced by his previous work on Darksiders, nothing specific about this third game directly comes from him.

@Sam3231: The title refers to one of this year's best game, period. But even considering other Indie games that came out this year on switch, like Celeste, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and so on, it's in pretty good company. I was waiting for Into the Breach to make its way to Switch, so it's good news to me.

Bastion and Transistor coming to Switch is awesome. Now I can hope for Pyre in the future as well. And Into the Breach is just perfect for Switch.

@soulfulDAGGER: Although I think you are a little bit harsh, I do mostly agree. The gameplay is top notch and it looks great, but I personally always end up dropping off this kind of game after a while because of the overall pointlessness of it all. Without any story and defined beginning and end, I loose interest eventually.

@nintendoboy16: Although I agree that anime/manga adaptations by Hollywood are always failures, I would not put DB and GitS on the same level. DB was a throwback to absolutely ridiculously bad movies of the 90s. GitS was just a boring uninspired adaptation of the source material.

Some live action made in Japan are ok though. Budget limitations prevent them from being totally awesome, but they are generally better. For example, Rurouni Kenshin which I thought was actually really cool. The first Death Note movie was also pretty good.
