As my end semester exams ended today, I decided to watch the movie Zodiac by David Fincher starring Mark Ruffalo and Jake Gyllenhall.

After an exhaustive week, I needed a refreshing story out of it, and boy! What a movie it turned out to be. One of the most thrilling movies I have ever seen.

From the word go to the end, it binds you to the screen with the entertaining and thrilling plot.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was the first time I ever saw the ocean, I was three or four years old.

Monterey Bay, California was just down the hill from the barracks, when I was going to language school in the army. I could just walk down the hill and walk along the beach.

Wenoah Head, New South Wales. Because you don’t travel to the other side of the freakin’ planet and NOT jump in the ocean.

I like many kinds of fish, and would eat it more often if I lived near the sea; but I never have. I am very fond of broiled salmon. I like halibut, when it is in season, here.

Fish tacos made with chopped cabbage, lemon juice, mayo, and cilantro I eat almost every week in the summer .

According to The rise of the jump and An Ode To Double Jump, the earliest known title to feature it (double jumping) was Dragon Buster, originally released in 1985 as an arcade title and later ported to Famicom (what most of the world refers to as NES), MSX and Sharp X68000.

A remake/sequel was later published for Playstation under the name Dragon Valor.

For me, as well as it fits into the platform, it's good ^^

Yes, totally,

Dune could, and IMHO Should, be as popular as Game of Thrones for several reasons:

  • They are the product of a talented writer who has done an astounding job building a world (or a Universe)
  • Both have an operatic feel to them
  • Both have extremely compelling characters
  • Both have a rabid fan base

The reason Dune is unlikely to ever get an HBO series is that there are a few challenges that are unique to Dune.

I'm easily pleased, cookie-wise. I'm much pickier when it comes to other sweet things. Gimme anything. But I'm partial to these simple butter cookies, made with pâte sucrée, or pasta frolla. Sometimes less is more.
