@Cloud_imperium @moataz1993 Same here, I was wondering if a lifetime of 2 years (with games running on ultraish settings) is good enough? Also, do u think that the upcoming patch by Nvidia is going to improve Tressfx performance on this card? Or should I just go ahead and complete the game now.....
So, any news on the patch for Nvidia cards? Oddly enough, I read on many forums about people having problems on the Kepler generation (including the newly released TITAN), not just with TressFX but tessellation in general. I own a 560ti and didn't have a single problem, except of course, the poor optimization with TressFX. Swapped in a 6870 to see what was what, next thing I know game is stuttering as hell and crashes randomly. Go figure....
@sandgroper @ansabalirai Don't think that applies to all the games. Steam has better protection, so it is true in this case. But not true in general. A few games have been leaked on the PC before release date, but lately, it is mostly the console ones that are cracked earlier....
Case in point: Pirated copies of Tomb raider for XBox 360 and even PS3 have been available on torrent sites for a whole week now. Instead, illegal PC copies only started surfacing after the game's release, i.e. 5th March.
Umm, one little thing u missed, the disc buning part of your explanation is not true in my opinion. I have seen people buy dvds off the market for like a buck. It is actually really rare to see an original XBox game in the market. So, all u really need is a modded Xbox 360. And that's not that hard to come by either. Infact, shops here actually sell them openly and it is actually harder to get an unmodded XBox 360. It really breaks down to where u reside...
But really, that part about "risking one's entire life"?? Horses$it....
