Man, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is so good. It's not as dark or as philosophical pondering as the movies but it's incredibly solid all around, real good mix of 3D computer animation and cel-animation which I guess kinda expected out of a Ghost in the Shell anime.
Child of Light is waaay too damn easy. My baby girl is getting through it fine by only pressing 'A'. She doesn't even know what an 'A' is yet. She hits the "green" button to "beat up the monsters." This is also the first game I've let her play by herself. I'm only sitting with her to do the fights for her, and I haven't had a turn yet. Maybe she's a natural? Hopefully, the difficulty ramps up a bit later on. It's damn nice to look at, at least.
The most consistent complaint I've heard against that game is how mind-numbingly easy it is. It seems like they just poorly balanced the difficulty because apparently the harder difficulty is way too hard.
@MrSelf-Destruct: Jeez, that trailer looks GOD awful. I agree that a show about Gordon and the Gotham police could be pretty interesting but everything show in that trailer looks like some executive going "Well, we got to have the villains in there!" and now there's this show. I give no more than 2 seasons at best.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, Captain America: Winter Soldier was pretty great. Probably the second best Marvel movie.
Avengers your first?
also, you don't play the souls games, eh?
Yeah, Avengers is probably number one but man, the more I think about it I don't know. Winter Soldier was so good.
And yeah, I play the Souls games but I'm gonna get Dark Souls II down the line when it's cheaper. Too busy right now to get into that game.
Ah, gotcha. Couldn't remember if you played DS1 or DS.
Yeah, Winter Soldier was awesome. Thinking about watching it again.. It really does blow my mind how well it is integrated with the SHIELD tv show.
I just really dug the whole paranoid spy story, I never realized how perfectly that fits Captain America's character. And those action scenes were some of best of any blockbuster movie in the past 5 years or so. Just a really well put together movie.
Just watch The Bourne Identity for the first time...and it kinda just seemed like a generic action spy thriller that couldn't make up its mind between being a Hollywood action movie and a more gritty thriller. Anyone know if the sequels are any better?
I love it but then again, I always love it when a creator trolls his audience and gives them the middle finger while laughing. That's basically MGS2 in a nutshell.
