I got over a 1000pts in a COD4 match once. Don't remember the exact count but it was at least a 100 kills in a HC TDM on that ship level. Helos and airstrikes are brutal on that map. Once you realize that you can call the airstrike in, die, respawn, get 5 kills from airstrike and get another airstrike...its pretty easy to rack up kills :)

The game just came out. Why do I want to spend another 10-15$ on this game? God, no wonder developers shovel map packs at gamers now-a-days.

Hm... played a bunch of the PC version and just tried out the 360 demo today, and I might like the 360 version better.. the controls seem to work a bit better for the controller, there's hardly any lag, hell even guys seem to take less bullets to take down, as long as you exclude the 'hardcore' version. And since I can run it through my 5.1 system, it sounds.. incredible..

I had the PC version preordered, but now I have my doubts :| The 360 version even seems to run much smoother.

Same. I just can't seem to get used to the KB&M controls on the PC. The 360 version seems to be better. I just need to get Steam to refund my money.

I play it on easy, and it's pretty....easy. I can get through most battles with minimal micro-management. I would 100% recommend it for the PC solely because of the Toolset that was just released. Basically, lots of user generated content will be flowing forth in the weeks/months/years to come.

I would say its a good 'beginner' PC game also because it shows why PC gaming is awesome (better controls, customizability, and better graphics). When you realize what real PC gaming is about, its hard to go back to consoles sometimes (although I still do!).

For how well it scored, Killzone 2 is one of the most underrated, under appreciated games this gen. I didn't even bother playing it until last month. The game was phenomenal. The controls, which were a pain to learn, were great. The firefights and cover system were awesome. I thought Brian Cox as Visari was amazing. The soundtrack was awesome too; I still listen to the songs on Youtube every week.

Apparently its because you can't turn off the Physx (which runs fine with nVidia).

I had a ton of fun with it last year. My girlfriend and I went through all the SP levels and collected everything. First time I've ever done that with a game. Had a blast doing it too. There are some truly amazing user created levels too. Do a Google search and you'll find lists of the best ones (I know IGN has done a few lists). The side mini games are also really fun.

So, overall, amazing game. Easily my favorite game this gen.

I have no idea why people are up in arms about an optional feature in a single player game.

Edit: Up in arms = people angry about these features (ie, Forza). It is only going to cheapen MY experience if I use it and you don't.

I'd dig that. I really wanted to play Shadow of the Colossus but my PS2 wouldn't read the disc (I have an old self fixed disc read error PS2).
