@zerooo0 Microsoft and Xbox Gold did great things for indie developers on the Xbox 360, Live arcade had some really fun and interesting titles. Go try Toy Soldiers it looks like crap but it is a lot of fun.

@Sevenizz I agree Second Son was more fun when I played it as Saints row 4.

@Forcecaster @adub424 @nazart81 After an equal amount of time watching exclusives and early release DLC show up on Xbox I would have been pissed if I only had a PS3 luckily I had both.

@Forcecaster @adub424 Everyone knew that the Xbox 360 was far weaker than the PS3 in processing power. Sony shot themselves in the foot buy using Cell processing and turning off most developers. Since so many third party titles were written for the larger install base of the 360 and ported to the PS3 the graphics were often just as good or better for Microsoft. The Xbox One is a weaker processing device than the PS4 I admit to it because it is a fact. Developers will continue to try to utilize both consoles fully and the difference between graphical output will become as negligible as the processing difference. The point is that with inferior processing Xbox had just as many great looking games as the PS3.

@Forcecaster @adub424 @nazart81 PS+ service still doesn't have the install base that Xbox Gold has. So giving out games was not just a kind act by benevolent Sony, it was a way to increase its subscription base. Paying to play online on Xbox Gold is worth it the multiplayer support and games you get to play are fantastic in addition I have made lots of online friends to add to the RL friends I started playing with on their service so the point is valid. If you have played multiplayer on Xbox Live you would realize why it is so nice.

@Forcecaster @adub424 Molyneux says lots of stuff anyone who has played his games knows to take him with a grain of salt Fable was still great despite his self deprecating comments. If you had read the thread he was talking about hardware increases between generations the Xbox One is more of a leap, from the 360, in processing alone than the PS3 to the PS4. You were the one who started in on the Kinect.

@nazart81 Lots and Lots of people paid for and are still paying for Xbox Live even without the free games. Sony had to give stuff away to get people to sign up. Now Sony says you cant leave or we will take away what we gave you.

@Forcecaster @adub424 I was thinking more like the phenomenon that is Halo multiplayer and the Fable series, but yeah lots of great times playing Kinect Sports or Happy action theater at parties and get togethers. The Kinect is not only good for kids but Drunk friends as well.

@Forcecaster @adub424 @divinejester The point was that old games have almost no lasting value and they do so the copies on a Xbox 360 hard drive are worth something down the road. So Microsoft is giving out something with real value as opposed to using your backlog to get you to keep paying for PS+.
