@ZamboniGamer: Welcome to the Age of Technology - where all aspects of your life can be shared on different social media sites. What will be left behind of humanity will be these kind of social posts.
@mirage_so3: Yes - Wii Controller was copied by Microsoft on Kinetic and the Playstation version Motion Controller. Then Playstation did it again with Wii U - copying the remote play function of Wii U for Vita and PS4.
Wonder if Microsoft cross play is somewhat related to Wii U as well.
Link has sex, age and other characteristics tho - tru it is not certain if it is same for all Link's though we can assume it is considering how Triforce likes to repeat the cycle.
Anyway - Manual of original Legend of Zelda II - calls Link a lad as well as tells that he is about 16 years old.
Also Link is not really an avatar nor is he a char either - he is a link between those two.
He has certain personal traits but is open ended and mute so the player can feel more connected yet Link has often had a long history with the village and villagers he is living in/ with ~ Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time - in all of those, there is a layer to Link that the player can't change or can't see. It is a past life we can't intervene with. He isn't a clean slate like a regular avatar like Commander Shepard who has a past paragraphed in flavor text.
Also there has been two comics, one manga and cartoon about Link - plethora of video games thus it could be said that Link has been imprinted to our minds - if you close your eyes and think about Link what do you see ?
That is right- you see the Link you know from games, media- not a female version of Link even if you wish for it.
