I still have all the 1st and 2nd edition books, big bag of dice, character sheets, DM screen, graph paper, and a xerox box full of original modules. I'm "old school" set.
Essentially, they are opting to release the same crap they have been doing instead of attempting real innovation. Can't wait for 6 more Assassin's Creed games full of maps/POIs that need to be uncovered by climbing more towers. <sigh>
Interesting... I made a comment pointing out the strangeness of a news story about a teenager's sexual preference being on a video game website and it was deleted by a moderator (perhaps by Mogan since he seems to be active in this thread). Why is the sexual preference of a teenager so important on a gaming website that someone who has been a member of this website since 2003 should be censored when they point the out the absurdity of this misplaced story? What's next, I get banned?
It's good to see a lot of the woke bullshit got cancelled. Unfortunately, they also cancelled a few decent shows. Just goes to show, TV just isn't a reliable investment of entertainment time anymore. You can love a show and then it gets cancelled after a season or two before it really has a chance to take off. Well, I still have my books.
