@BassMan: Maybe we should just wait for the PS5PRO+PLUS?

@guavington: I know. It's impossible to enjoy a game that has poor framerate. I find 165FPS is ideal. 30FPS is laughable. Especially in 2024.

@nemesis: It was my favorite too, and by far. One of the best games I've played in recent years. I'm really disappointed to hear we won't be getting a Dead Space 2 remake.

@just_visiting: On PC with a gamepad, the controls for the original Dead Space are broken. You just barely tap the right thumbstick, and the camera starts spinning. And there's no way to adjust the sensitivity.

I'm talking about the Steam version of Dead Space.

@philip6k: Which I mostly do. I'm often buying games for less than $5. And I have hundreds of games in my Steam account that I have yet to play. For every game I play, I'm buying 5 more at a huge discount. So buying a new game at full price is pointless to me.

@Zombie8814: that's exactly how I have purchased PS consoles since PS3. Waited until PS3 slim, PS4 Pro, and will do the same for PS5 Pro. The only downside? I'm always years behind and never really part of the gaming zeitgeist, as I'll play games years after all the enthusiasm has already dwindled. But I'm ok with that.

It's good to wait a few years to play games, because the price of older games will drop significantly. Plus all the bugs will be patched, and the DLC will often be included. Win-win.
