I had no idea Haemimont Studios was Bulgarian. Tropico is the only Bulgarian game I've played (or likely will ever play).
Multiplayer sounds awesome. I don't know how it would work though. Can't my mind around it at all. Maybe they'll try a SimCity-like multiplayer experience.
@ViciousRDS @Zero_Entity What I meant to say was that I wonder if there is an option to shutdown the console into the S5 power state. It sounds like the console will by default go into S3 (I wrote the wrong state before), i.e. sleep mode, by default when a user presses the power button or turns off the console via the menu. Microsoft already does something slightly similar in Windows 8 with "hybrid boot" so I thought they may apply the same philosophy to the Xbox One.
@ViciousRDS @Zero_Entity What I meant to say was that I was wondering if the console will go into the Soft Off (S5) power state when the user presses the power button or turns it off in the menu. The article makes it sounds like Microsoft will use the S3 state (I wrote the wrong state before) so that it will be "always-on" i.e. in sleep mode. Windows 8 defaults to using a "hybrid boot" mode so I expected the philosophy to be the same with Xbox One. From what I hear though Windows 8 PC's can be fully shut off into the S5 state.
I've seen the gameplay teaser trailer and from what lines and footage there are it seems like Ace Combat Infinity will harken back to the pre-AC: Assault Horizon days. Well at least there's lasers and Stonehenge in it. There's also my favourite plane, the Su-47, in it. It will also take place 20 years after meteor impact.
I'm looking forward to this. It's free so there's little to lose.
@mrklorox The "C" in the Early Childhood looks more appropriately sized in proportion to the rest of the lineup. The "e" however does look a little skewed. Yes the "E" in the Everyone logos were slightly different, easy to miss. The outline of the icons have been slightly altered too. The original ones have a black-white-black layout. The new ones are simply white then black.
I forgot the Adults Only 18+ rating exists. Console manufactuers won't allow such rated games and retailers aren't likely to carry them. In fact I'm reasonably sure there aren't any AO games in North America despite a number of games falling in that category.
It sounds like the console will use something equivilent to ACPI S4 rather than the norm of S5. It sounds weird having a console being continuously on without shutdown. I wonder if there will be an option to disable it. I also really hope there's an internal battery for the clock. The freaking PS2 and Gamecube has a battery and the Xbox and the Xbox 360 doesn't.
