oh well, i tried 2 cd's each pal, i don't see anything wrong with my ps3, got it first day it came out, reads all cd's fine. Damn this sucks xD i guess i'll have to bare with it.
Lately, i have been trying to get final fantasy 8 for the ps1 to work with my 40gb ps3, apparently the playstation logo comes up, then after that an endless black screen. Isn't the 40gb SKU 100% compatible with ps1 games? Anyone got a solution?
Forgot, I call shenanigans on this. No way would the white PS3 delete blood from games without it being a user selectable parental control option.mbrockway
