If you'd like to make that picture look real try erasing the grass pixel by pixel.dallas_cowboys3Ah who cares about how realistic it looks. It's freaking hilarious. That is possibly one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen.
they still had to put enough points on the board though - Brady done that extremely well especially on those 2 minute drives that he led the Pats on (including in the superbowl which is ultimate clutch) with no great receivers is pretty special.rangers1690
His wide receiving core was not that bad. Of course he moved the chains, but the reason the team did so much better is because of the defense. There's so many recongizable guys on the patriots defense from the past, Ted, Ty Law, Willie McGinest, Lawyer Milloy, Richard Seymour, etc. Tom Brady did an awesome job, but not number one awesome. He is a clutch QB. If you think about it, how can you say his receiver core isn't good, if they brought in the points and the yardage? That would make them pretty good WRs. Just because they're aren't household names like Randy Moss or TO, they aren't "good"? That's not really fair to them. Terry Glenn wasn't that bad anyways. He had an attitude issue but he brought in the yards and was a decent red zone guy.
I mean 2003, he had a good roster. Troy Brown, David Givens,Ā Dave PattenĀ and Deion Branch. That's a pretty good receiving core in my opinion. The yards and the TDs were more spread between them. You can't say they didn't have a good soĀ and so, if theĀ job was gettingĀ done and getting done well.Ā
to me it is, what Brady has done without any great receivers is incredible IMO - Peyton has Marvin, Young had Rice..........every other great QB had an equally good receiver to throw to except Brady who has still been able to lead a team to 3 superbowl victories.rangers1690
That's because the patriots defense was elite.
[QUOTE="Wii26"]Drew Brees and ChadĀ Pennington are not minor. They're household QB names. As for minor, I think you mean guys who haven't got much recognition but came out of no where. I'd go with Philip Rivers, Damon Huard, and Tony Romo.

I'd consider Pennington more minor than Rivers
How so? Rivers was a big rookie but he's still a minor QB. No one really thought he could come in and get the job done. And Pennington are you serious? He's been the NY Jets franchise QB since 2002. He's a big QB name. Everyone knows who he is and he's played excellent football. This was Rivers first year as a starter. How could Chad be more minor then Rivers, when Chad has had a good 4-5 years under his belt?
Man, I loved Ricky Williams. He reminds me of Barry Sanders. They both called it quits to early. Ricky lost pretty much everything. He said he didn't want to take his anxiety pills because they ruin his diet but look at him now. He's probably so out of shape and probably has lost most of his physical abilities. What an idiot... he could have been one of the greats.
