Arma 2 Though the learning curve might be to steep cause its fairly realistic (like 1 good shot and its game over) and if you use mods you can make it extremely realistic.atony12
Good game, but that's not the kind of game I'm looking for.

warhammer?

I've seen that. It looks fun, but doesn't it cost quite a bit for all the pieces?

Yeah thats the downside, one full army can cost around £80+ [heck one tank is £25]

i had to stop playing becuase of it.

Yea, I figure if I started making more money I might give it a try. Right now my favorite wargame is team yankee, which seems to me to be pretty fun and semi-simple but it's too repetitive so that's why I'm here looking for new ones :)

CoD/Halo are wargames now?Allicrombie
I know people who aren't into wargamming and when they hear it they ask "like cod?", and I didn't want anyone like that to post games like that on here. It was just to be on the safe side

I don't mean war games like COD or Halo (just wanted to put that first so anyone who doesn't read all the way won't post them) I mean like Axis&Allies or Team Yankee-esque games. I'm trying to find a good wargame that's not too difficult to learn so I can finally wargame with some of my friends who aren't into games that have a steep learning curve. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for any screen size above 11", but 15-17 would be my favorite. Under $500 would be the price range I'm looking for mostly.

I'm looking for a decent, cheap, laptop. It doesn't need to be extremely powerful, but fast enough to run a Gnome 3 linux os and play multimedia well. I know there are a lot of different models and variants but does anyone have any laptops (2004-now) that they have had a good experiance with that I could probably pick up on the internet for fairly cheap?

Blast from the past.

Haha. Mail.com is powered by AOL and they're doing pretty well, but I don't know anyone who uses plain old AOL anymore

I agree that @hotmail doesn't look very good, but everyone is familiar with and uses Gmail.GAMESHARQ

I agree, @hotmail doesn't look too good, but you can get your hotmail as @live now which looks better. It still doesn't look great, but it's better than @hotmail
