Yeah, it's wireless, but it has plenty of power in the battery.

I'll plug in the plug and play thing and see what that does.

I can't seem to find an answer to this, tried searching various places, so I thought I'd ask...

Randomly, for no apparent reason, my controllers lights around the guide button alternatingly flash. It doesn't cause any problems (albeit slightly distracting in the peripheral vision) and it only started the past few days. It does it for a 10-15 second stretch and thens tops for a bit. And it only does it for maybe 4 or so minutes at a time and then nothing.... It's honestly random.

So yeah, I'm just wondering what that's about.

I tried taking some pictures, not the greatest, but to try and show it.

Alright, simple story short, my girlfriend and I have a regular old desktop PC with Rogers Broadband (Express if that matters).

We also own a Wii, a PS3 and a couple DSs. We'll be getting a Xbox 360 today (Saturday) and a PSP in a month when the new ones come out...

And, well, we want to connect them to the Internet. We have Nintendo's USB thing for the Wii/DSs, but that's effectively useless otherwise. So we've looked into getting a router, and obviously a wireless one since the Wii/DS/PSP/PS3s all can use wireless.

I don't know anything, I don't know how they work, or what I need. Just that we need a router. I was looking at that one. I don't understand the differences in protocols and I barely understand speed...I'd like to get something cheaper, as that's a bit pricey, however everything lower available at Best Buy apparently sucks from what I gather from user reviews and stuff around the Internet.

Pretty much, I just need to know what I need for a good router that will do what I want (primarily connect our game systems to the Internet along with our desktop, with possibly a laptop in the future).

So yeah... Help?

EDIT:

So yeah looking around...

Are either of those decent routers?

Their speed is 125Mbps and up to 300Mbps respectively... I moused over my own connection icon in the system tray and it only says 100.0 Mbps... So, would they do the job I want?

My girlfriend and I have been playing our PS2 on our 42" LCD TV and it looks like crap. So we were thinking for the time being of upgrading to getting component cables to make it look a bit better.

What we're primarily curious about is, do the PS2 component cables work with the PS3? We intend to get a PS3 in a month or so, and if they work with it, we'll get them. If they don't we won't.

So yeah, do the PS2 component cables work with the PS3?

are you talking about the original killzone. No it doesn't have co-op. If you're looking for co-op FPS you can try Timesplitters 2or 3, Darkwatch also has co-op.

wackoss

Um... I came to the PS2 board and asked about Killzone... so yeah, that would be the one... If I wanted to know about Killzone: Liberation, I would ask about it on the PSP board...

Anyways we already own Future Perfect and Darkwatch looks quite uninteresting. Ah well. I suppose we could wait for when we get the PS3 and just get Resistance. Eh.

Thanks for the replies though.

Since we're getting a PSP soon and likely with Killzone: Liberation (and Killzone 2 looking cool), plus the fact that my girlfriend and I like playing games together...

Does it have co-op?

Simple question really. Co-op for the main story/campaign that is. Multiplayer deathmatchingis unimportant.

And I see this is only available in the US...

BAH.

EDIT: Ah hah! After checking the site and not just the coupon, I am vindicated.

It was pretty obvious the guy was being sarcastic (note the winking smily)

Jesus how did you miss that haha

destructo888

Sarcasm doesn't work on the Internet. Sarcasm is in tone of voice, not specifically what is said. And regardless, a winking smiley face can imply an number of things.

Because the developers of the game really seem to disagree with you on that... Oooh, right on their website too.

Right....

So a blatantly anti-Microsoft website, that just started up, that has absolutely no credibility, and is reporting stuff that hasn't been elsewhere while citing no sources... You believe it?

You guys should look up naive and gullible in the dictionary.
