Every gaming journalist rolls their eyes whenever someone talks about "winning" E3 but leave it to Gamespot to throw fuel in the fire.

I will play along since they started it. Sony "won" by a long shot. Their conference was like Cow fan-fiction come to life. Microsoft was ok but there were no "wow" moments like Sony had tonight.

I expect Nintendo to bring it tomorrow too though. Will there be a re-vote once Nintendo goes, @GameSpot or do they not count?

What wow moments did Sony have exactly? A dull looking TLG demo that they had to show? The FF7 remake thats a multiplat? Announcing a kickstarter for a multiplat?

Those were all big announcements to games that people care about. Multiplat or not those were "wow" moments in their conference. They had a much bigger impact than Halo 5 or Gears did for Microsoft. It's not a good thing when announcing backwards compatibility is the big moment of your show.

We also saw some hologram stuff too, but that's so boring. I'd much rather be excited for a game that was announced 7 years ago, I always love looking in the rear view.

You must hate the rare collection, BC and the Gears of War remaster. Why play games already released years ago?

There's a pretty big difference between being released years ago and being reveled years ago.

In terms of games, I struggled to see any real variety with Sony's announcements. Yes, The Last Guardians will be huge, but along with Horizon(from what we've seen) and Uncharted, they all more or less fall under that action-adventure category. Uncharted could be considered a TPS, but that would be a stretch in my opinion. Like it or not Microsoft's announcements had variety to them, ousting Sony's action-adventure cycle.

In regards to everything else I think Sony struggled again. Talking about the possibilities and innovation that AR/VR can bring is one thing, showing it is something else. You can cry all you want that backwards compatibility isn't relevant to you, but you don't make up the whole of the gaming community. It's just a convenient feature to have and something to add to the XB1's resume. There's literally no harm in them adding it, yet people are somehow trying to turn it around on them. One of the most important things I took away from that, is that they actually listened to the community and made a huge move to make it happen. Being a huge PC gamer, I'm also excited for the Windows 10 streaming and all the other convenient features it may bring.

If it's $1600 you better be getting 2 GTX280's. Anything else would be a ripoff.Locke562

Well that's pretty much impossible. Unless you steal the rest of the computer parts, since 2 GTX280's are around $800-$1000.

[QUOTE="LordEC911"]

With G200b coming before the end of the year, yes a mere shrink of G200, there is nothing new coming from Nvidia until mid 2009. Late Q2/Q3 we should see a 40nm slightly tweaked G200.

JP_Russell

So you think this GTX 350 is a fake?

As if you just asked that.

Yeah go with the GTX260 if the 280's outta your budget. I'd rather get DDR3 RAM than DDR2 ram also.
