@tranceology3 We're not watching movies unless we're talking about games like Beyond or Hard Rain ect, you're in direct control in a video game and a higher frame will give you better control & less strain on the eyes. When you're filming a movie at 24 fps there is limits to how fast you can pan a camera back and forth, doing it excessively is going to make people sick and that's why it's not something games should aim for.
@Thanatos2k That's an example, i play all my games on the PC at 60 fps so when i play a game on a console that is 30 fps like Halo 4 or WWHD i can feel and see it right away.
@spikepigeo Once you get used to 60+ fps you never want to go back to 30 fps, regardless of graphics but that's something many console only games haven't been exposed to much.
@tranceology3 Playing a game at 24 fps is horrible, the only excuse for a game not running at 60 fps is because they cannot do it without lowering the visual fidelity, it has nothing to do with the so called "cinematic experience", any game is better at 60+ fps.
@stuff238 Nintendo is no longer selling the Wii-U at a loss and even with low expectations for the console they plan on making a profit next year, mind you they've only made 3 losses in 100 years and the Gamecube was a profitable system. You're forgetting they have the 3DS which is still doing very well while the PS Vita is not.
