Leaving discs in is actually safer than changing them out every time provided you don't move or jostle the console.

I think: "Can the innovation of the developers possibly outweigh the idiocy of the publisher on this one?" Seriously, it's a constant inner debate with me when EA publishes titles from legitamately good developers.

Every single news network you see will have bias' that will always lean in the favor of some few... No news network actually just tells you the news... maybe at times but they only tell you the part of it they want you to hear... be careful with what you believe from TV... as for Bioshock... the game PWNS!XxAnubisxX

Sure you'll always have bias however a journalist who doesn't even TRY to eliminate it is no journalist at all.

These critics you speak of don't seem to be the 'professional' reviewers writing up GTA4 since it was obviously perfect....

But seriously, being critical of games actually INCREASES my enjoyment of them. Noticing lame game mechanics, terrible dialoge, railroaded plots, poor graphical production values, etc. allows me to really appreciate when a game gets something right on. Noticing flaws in games that also have redeeming virtues doesn't ruin the gameplay for me but instead, enhances it by allowing me to focus my attention on the parts of the game that are great rather than the aspects that didn't quite make it up to the same level as its high points.

Okay so let me get this straight. Your mom has no problem with the fact that you can walk up to a pedestrian in the game and blast him with a shotgun or whatever, but she has a problem with sex? You know there is something wrong in this world when people have a problem with exposing their kids to sex, but not violence.musclebound_meathead

With the release lineup this year I would be stunned of there was a price drop. Units are moving fast and the summer releases will only move them even more quickly. Right now the big titles are hitting, consoles are selling, and production costs are WAY down from what they were at launch (partly due to dropped features and partly due to tech/manufacturing advances). This is the gaming divisions big chance to get back into the black. Once that recoups the losses they took at launch maybe they'll start cutting again but unless there's some massive market trend that crops up from another camp in the next few months don't expect a price cut this year.
