@shadowkiller11 A real pity if you ask me. I guess I have been just "promoted" to dinosaur gamer. I like playing in a world where only I determine the outcome, when other people get involved you get more generic type of outcomes which have no real depth. But you said it all, can't blame the market for keeping up with changes our community provides.

Actually, this game looks like simple fun. Day one buy for me. I wonder how far I could go in survival.

@pcostix I really fail to see what went wrong with these titles. These 2 examples are about the grafics and gameplay - screw their stories - it just a pretext to shoot stuff and it is marketed that way. Grafics are there, both in Crysis and FarCry but then again I didn't like the original titles so perhaps I am being a bit unfair on your comment because my expectations for their sequels were low already.

People should realize that Ubisoft has 2 teams working on the AC games, so technically they do have a longer development time. In my opinion AC series is great and I feel quite satisfied with their end products. Keep the story involved and meaningful and I will stick around. Just wish other companies had the same success with their stories which are pretty lame in general.

@Tsuchikage I my opinion, fire/relocate the person who came up with the puzzle thing in Revelations (the one with jumping platforms and stuff like that. Hate it, complete waste of time. I had to play it just for the tiny bits of story portions - which aren't that cool anyway.

@MrAssassin83 Agree 100% - But CoD has been the target of criticism lately for the same reason.

That's pretty suicidal in my opinion. Talk about spitting in the face of your fan base.

I feel the fury and the pain for 360 gamers, this is just wrong.

@inebriantia Though I understand which angle you are coming from - the lack of creative ideas (which I agree 100% with you), I honestly have to disagree the approach you used. It is a ripoff and not all companies can indeed do something about it. Yes you can cry about corporate-greed and their lack of balls to do something about the industry as it is, the DLC stuff is also quite depressing in itself. But you have to be pretty naive to think these companies survive of "air or sand", they need cold hard cash, just like you and me. These large companies are hostages to the investors, which quite few of them don't even understand the industry well enough to enforce/stick with the stock of a given company if they have too many risky/unproven projects (games) going on. The problem with big companies is that they have NASDAQ and DOWJONES, once a company goes there they lose their "soul" and try to play the tune so it pleases investors (which take priority over customers ironically). This is capitalism, this is what the whole cold war was about. The US fought for this, now live with it until we figure a better way to go on. Zynga is at fault here.
