I was at home cheering along with the crowd during Sony's press conference last year; perhaps mostly in relief that Sony wasn't following Microsoft's draconian policies.
When I looked at the game clock in Skyrim and saw that I had racked up 70 hours playing, I thought it was about time I went about completing the main quest.
I did, and I haven't played much of the game since.
Using your own starfighter to travel between planets in Jump to Lightspeed was a blast. Multiple player ships you could decorate and fight together in were a real highlight. Building your own ship or finding someone to craft you your dream fighter was an accomplishment.
I absolutely loved this game. I would have been sold had they added a dozen or so new tombs to raid or perhaps had they gotten creative with a tomb raiding challenge mode or something.
It was a joy moving about in that game and exploring the world. Way too heavy on the shooting, especially the ending, but I can easily look past that flaw.
No reason to shell out another $60. I'm hoping that this release will entice people who haven't played this wonderful game to give it a shot... but they definitely could have given people who played the game already enticing reasons to return.
