Well, that was a nostalgic trip back through time. Not so excited about the next generation as I was about this one though... I really think these systems have plenty of life left in them.

To be honest, I find most PC games "superior" graphics to be more plastic than their console counterparts.

Wow.. they tossed out the GBA slot and cut the battery life by hours... added two crappy cameras, a SD slot, a 10 second voice recorder, an AAC music player that you can easily accidentally make Mario sounds with and stretched games out by half an inch; for all that they chocked the price up 70$. The losses here heavily outweigh the gains. Heck, I wouldn't even pay the normal price for those changes, much less $70 more. They're seriously trying to take advantages of those Nintendo fanboys that collect every model (and sometimes every color) of their handheld systems. PS: The price, Luxma, is 200USD (As Yen goes).

You have a month to fix your wireless, Jwestie. The color and contrast comparisons make this look like an amazing improvement over the current system visually... however it does not seem enough to entice me into spending another $200 on a new system I would have absolutely been sold on a second analogue stick, but I guess Sony either doesn't see how desperately we want that second stick or they don't want to make older PSP's incompatible with newer games.

The 360's screens look a good deal more dramatic and realistic. The PS3's just too light, it's like it's missing a layer of shadowing. I don't know if that is because the contrast settings or what, but it is worth noting. PS. It is also worth pointing out that there are more objects rendered in the 360 version, and at greater distance... though not a significant number of objects. Just one more here, or one more there.

Vista has been a pain in my side since I bought a new PC last year. Before I bought my new PC, I never would have dreamed that Vista was a step down from XP. It's such an aggravating and painful system to use. It makes tasks which were so easy in XP a pain to work. Most of the features are absolutely useless... and the graphical enhancements do little more than suck up more memory.

I'd like to see a compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or IX start up. ( Guess we sorta get something along those lines with Dissida...) As for a VII remake, I would be perfectly content with simply minor graphical improvements (ex. Final Fantasy I - VI remakes) and AC and CC quality cut-scenes on either PS3 or PSP. Then again, I would be perfectly happy with a completely reworked combat system and modern graphics - on either PS3 or PSP. No matter what they do to a remake, the original is still there. (If they change it, I'd just like to see it included, maybe on one PS3 compatible Blu Ray along with the remake... since its so rare and expensive these days). Then again, there is entirely the possibility that they will never remake Final Fantasy VII. I would have to say, Square-Enix would loose out on a fortune... with so many rabid fanbois craving it.

With a .5 point system, they can't give a game just .1 for being on the 360 with its user created sound tracks... you realize that's why many 360 versions get .5 points more than PS3 versions... because the soundtrack in the game sucks... and they like that you can play your own soundtrack with the 360.
