Hmmm..... I always thought any give-a-ways would add value to any product. From a simple consumer point of view and not from some company management fart this is something I can appreciate. I mean what gamer in his fricking right mind would not like FREE games. We do buy GAMING CONSOLES to play GAMES........right? For a supposedly smart person Ryan has very poor choice of words to make a point. As far as I'm concern it isn't "kind of odd", it's really "AMAZINGLY COOL".

Perhaps more companies with $$$ can be as socially responsible and keep persons employed. It's great for the economy, monies spread a bit more instead of all sitting in one place. I also hope the end result is an ergonomically fantastic controller with great feedback.

@Saketume You have a point I really loved the sony brand in the 80's you got the 'bells and whistles' and great quality. Today you still do get the bells and whistles but the quality is suspect. On the console side since entering the disc era in the 90's all machines became so sensitive. I remember my friend bought a PS1 I got the Saturn we both like fighters and rpg's but I also liked other genres as well anyway his drive started to skip a sony rep told him over the phone to turn it on it's side eventually he had to turn it upside down before it gave out alltogether. He went through 4 playstations that way on that final one he took a Hammer to it, since then he was known as THOR. LOL. Disgustingly SONY never took any responsibility for KNOWN faulty PS1 consoles. In recent times the PS3 is known for the yellow light of doom though not as notorious as the 360 red light of death at least microsoft assume some responsibility by way of 3yr warranty. As I've said bells and whistles lower quality.

OH......... So was Gladius, agreed advance wars awesome and the tactics games were fine. Would like to see more of these games on all platforms I guess sales aren't up there to see more of these kinds of releases. Also real time strategies remember the AGE OF THE EMPIRE series. I guess SHOOTERS are king now....... monotonous, repetitive but they still come in droves. Don't get me totally wrong some are fun or fun for a while I personally have more than a fair share in my so far 50 plus game collection, the only two I totally enjoyed to play over and over were Borderlands and Binary Domain those were totally fun and just plain irresistible from a campagne point of view. Borderlands just had the 'Badass' attitude lol I mean the characters well done they made you just go what the F__K!! at times and binary domain reminded me of Contra in 3D particularly Contra Hardcorps because of more robot and tech than aliens........ with a storyline. Anyway as they say EVERYTHING has it's time.

What are the sale figures of these Sony exclusives? How do they stack up against 360 exclusives? PS gamers always seem to shout loud about exclusives but how are the developers creativity really supported? 360 gamers may have less exclusives but we support what we have quite well by BUYING games. You also can compare most games on both systems 360 usually sells more the install base is now similiar. Not bad for a system that was hacked for years despite this it shows we appreciate developers hard labor, so Rockstar jumped ship Naughty dog jumped ship and more will fly across simply because 360 gamers PURCHASE GAMES.
