Why so many comments over unofficial numbers? Even if true, we get it already--the Wii U is in a slump. However, the Wii U has been out for less than a year and there is so much doom and gloom being thrown in the air. Consoles, start off slow. If you don't believe me, just look at the numbers for 360, PS3, and even the 3DS during those launches. I know many of you prefer MS or Sony, but ya gotta simmer down with the wishful thinking.
Please come out on Wii U. I heard that Rockstar has it running on the Wii U in testing. So that's a positive sign. Hope you all enjoy this game regardless of what platform you have!
@Dizzy1976 @Tri-Enforcer If a company shows off a good game or something highly anticipated you don't need a spectacle to get people pumped for it--the game should sell itself. Do you need a pep rally that will get u to buy GTAV? Of course not. If Nintendo shows off HD versions of a new Metroid, Zelda or 3D Mario there will be no smoke or sparks needed.
Stop saying Nintendo will not be at E3 this year. They WILL be there with NEW games to show. Nintendo has already stated this. You all need to do more than just read a headline and then jump to a conclusion. Their just not doing a big scale conference. However, they will still have a booth and will still show new games to the media. Now run tell that!
@Hugoboss0889 @Tri-Enforcer I don't see why. We want games right? Nintendo will be on hand, at E3 to show games. That's all that matters. The same publications that covered E3's in the past will still get word out on Nintendo's new offerings. Don't let a headline and the negative comments on here fool you. Many of them read squat and are making assumptions.
It's a sign of change that's all. Nintendo will still have meeting rooms for all members of the press-both gaming sites and none gaming sites. That's what they mean by 'showing games to the press'. So the word on new Nintendo content will still spread, just as it would if they gave a pep rally. This is cost saving measure, not a 'we don't have nothing to show' measure. If they didn't, why be at E3 at all? Don't let believe that just because you don't have a spectacle press conference that it actually limits your audience (that's what the people who run E3 would want you to believe). It doesn't. The same press who would've sat in on a large scale press conference are the same people who will be at the press meeting rooms at E3.
