Illusion of Gaia on the SNES.

What hate? I think the Wii U has reached a point where people recognize that it has many great exclusives.
@juboner: Thanks! Yeah, it's not a huge difference to be honest. I'll get the physical release.
Always physical. How else are you supposed to display your library of games? :)
Has anyone got the physical version of the game? How are the load times?
I really want to buy this game, but I've read that the load times can be a bit long on the physical release. I know that the digital version has shorter load times, but I prefer physical.
Nowadays it seems like I play old games excusively, mainly on the SNES. Treasure Hunter G (a JRPG that was never released outside of Japan) is what I've been playing a lot lately. Another game I've put many hours in is Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.
I was too young to remember which game was the first game I played, but it might have been Ice Climber, Zelda, Metroid, Rush 'n' Attack or something else! It's all kind of a blur, and I experienced all these games around the same time, but as I said, I can't remember which was first. This was at a friends place whose older brother had a NES with these games. Later my parents bought me a NES with Super Mario.
I want the camp and cheesiness back. Why does every game have to be all dark, egdy, and epic? I'm not talking about RE7 in specific, but gaming in general seems to have forgotten that games can be fun and goofy.
Back when I was younger (I think I was 16) I kind of tried to speedrun Metroid Prime. I never intended to make any records, I just did it for fun. I think i managed to beat it in around three hours, and the world record was at around two and a half at the time.
The Wii U will be the only Nintendo console without its own unique Zelda game. Weird. I was really looking forward to playing Zelda this year, so I'm disappointed about this, but oh well. It's Nintendo so it's not a huge chock.
