From the Lord of the DLCs: Blinded by their greed, they took them without question, one by one falling into darkness and Bioware appeared with yet another DLC whispering: My precious, my precious!

This was all premeditated! The quite perfect yet unfinished game, the desire to make gamers talk more about it, the clever way to disguise new DLCs as apology to the fans... It all brings to one conclusion, they want more money out of us!

Now this is a genuine article written by a gamer, with understanding of our community, that cuts to the core of the issue, corporate America trying to pull another one. After months of promises that online content would substitute the games released on disc preserving buyers' rights the EA greedy intentions are finally uncovered. Actually they are saying from now on you will pay again for what you own, proving that propriety over game products can be hold only through hard copy. Don't rely in peoples trust anymore EA, you lost the last straw of credibility with this obnoxious behaviour. This is the first article truly concerning gamers community that I read in Gamespot for this year. Keep them going Tom!

Seriously dudes they are forcing us to piracy! So let those who can grow money on trees go ahead and buy these so called products, I prefer to get what I payed for not what others decided for me to buy. When game publishers have no respect for us gamers, why should we bleed dry for them?

Buying a game these days feels like buying half cooked food. You can eat it but will not taste as well... Companies hurry to publish games leaving blanks in between so gamers will be compelled to buy DLCs, that usually are just codes to unlock content that is already in the game disc! Enough with this total BS! We don't have to pay for an uncompleted game so get back at your studios and don't get out of there until the product is finished, polished and wrapped up!

I still remember playing Age of Dragon when at one point during the game I met this NPC guy that actually suggested me to buy the first DLC. This practice is becoming ridiculous and the sooner gamers understand they are being used as ATMs, the sooner greedy companies will change these pitiful ways of extortion!

I was surprised to read this moralistic article as news in Gamespot. This is an issue of morality and as consequence subjective by its own nature. I agree that this problem should be discussed elsewhere because here it is bound to turn into a mockery. Games are sometimes just pure violent fun so let check morality at the door when we enter a discussion about video games.

Well I will add an classic that work just fine on old pc systems and looks always fresh: Clive Barker's Undying. Commandos1 and 2 will do to.
