@ShaneKi @Tielo1 You are right (although the first part you wrote confuses me because you say that people shouldn't feel they have to give input to a product that is made but then you say it's great they did and changed everything). But I don't think (at least in Europe) a lot of people are going to buy the Xbone and that worries me because I don't want to see Plus demise for lack of competition.

You know I actually considered buying a Xbone, once.

This article is amazing. Not once, in all the shit this guy is rambling about he talks about what we, the gamers, want. We don't understand stuff, we call him god and ask to reverse their policies but never ever he talks about what we would like to see. Not in one sentence he shows any knowledge about games or gamers.

He also is never sure about anything. He thinks we will love Kinect if we finally have it although we hated the 1.0 version with a passion. Why isn't he sure we love it and if we don't we can give it back, receive $100 and he publicly will shove all the returned Kinects up his ass.
He thinks games will be better when the Kinect is delivered with the system and he looks at Wii to prove his point. From almost all Wii games that used the motion thing only a few delivered and most of them sucked. But yeh on the 360 all Kinect games sucked.

He only talks about what MS thinks is best for us, what will happen, and we should shut up and take it. Well, I'm off to buy a PS4. They understand what I want, they get me and I get them.

He wasn't the only one, the guy from Gearbox said the same. It shows Nintendo lives a bit in a bubble. You just could see this happen from a distance. A console, hardware wise closer to current gen then next gen is released 1 year before it's competition is going to launce new consoles with hugely superior hardware and a fanbase of more that 80 million user where a major part is hungry for something better after 8 years.

Yes they current consoles will be served with waterdowned version of the games who are going to be released on the new platforms but anyone with money burning in it's pocket is at least able to buy a $400 PS4 at launce. Why would any software company going to start up a waterdown version production line next to the PS3 and Xbox360 when they already started on 2 new one's for the PS4 and Xbone (and lots of them are adding Vita because of the superior support Sony is giving them).

Nintendo is and will be a Nintendo only console for a demising fanbase when you look at the numbers. They are probably tired of playing the same games over and over again with frustrating controllers.

When the bloody thing is in development for years why is the presentation of the new console such a mess? Why can't they explain any of the choices they made, presumably years ago, to their customers (or to themselves) and eventually change every freaking thing that days ago was an essential part of the machine and definitely couldn't change? Why don't they have enough consoles to sell to 32 countries like their competition (PS4), why doesn't the software even supports the measly 13 countries they are going to release it in and why do they call an idiot a Major when he takes a big dump on the military with the whole always online thing?!

In other words, why is the whole console (except for the Kinect (for now)) a complete re-imagining from it's original state that was presented in the first 'TV and Sports' presentation (something we almost heard nothing about during gamescom)?

Seriously, if this console wasn't thought up during Christmas 2012 office party at MS, by the cleaning crew, under the influence of a lot of alcohol and weed, then you are just plain incompetent!

Oh my, an advertising at Amazon mentions the PS Eye can recognise speech to interact with the PS4 desktop. A feature that is standard now in many cars, on many phone's and on many TV's. And this results in more than 3000 comments, lots of them MS fanboys losing their virginity in utter rage over a feature that is supposedly stolen from a devise that is forced on them and they actually don't want when you read most reactions on the Kinect.

Wait till they announce recognition of movement like the original PS Eye and all it's incarnations did. Relax folks. It's a $59 add on for PS4 that you may or may not buy and it'll do stuff.

I think the problem with MS is that they really think their Kinect is amazing when most customers couldn't care less. To start with the name, it's a play on connect and that is just what it doesn't. You don't feel connected with the game because you don't get any tactile feedback. Then there are the god awful commercials and presentations that where all fake. And then there were the people who bought the thing and most of them hated it with a passion. To end it all MS killed the previous 3 E3's with only Kinect games and MS fanboys felt deserted by a company that started to focus on casual instead of hard-core gamers.

Comparing it to Move is laughable. The move was never forced in games and never was the soul focus of the PS3. I know for a fact it exactly worked as advertised because I got one.

Now MS is forcing their failed first attempt on their public with the same promises but nothing to show for.

This is really funny. He doesn't say the console IS better but he THINKS it's better. He says I THINK we do more, so they aren't doing more he THINKS they are doing more. Well they do 100% more 180's, that's for sure.
What I know for sure is Sony's PS4 is 100$ cheaper with better hardware. I know for sure Sony has more exclusive studios making games for them then MS and I'm sure I'll have more fun with a PS4 then a Xbone with kinect.

@coruscant You are right, but at the time PS3 had a blu-ray player that was cheaper then most blu-ray players at the time and it came with a nice console at no extra cost. In the end it even was a better Blu-ray player then the rest because it's iso standards got upgraded what most other couldn't so they got problems with playing disks.
MS is for a fact offering older and cheaper technology and a Kinect most of us don't want for a premium price.
