@DarkReign2552 @slainta @grognard Your very ignorant if you believe this whole family sharing thing. A region locked box can have friends all over the world play your game for free, right. It probably counts for nothing that some insiders told us that the whole thing was actually only a one hour thing. So it was more of a demo like you have already on Plus where you can play a lot of games for free for 1 hour.
Also wasn't all this to put money in the pockets of developers. That's what MS told us. What you are telling now wouldn't benefit the developers at all. Also a lot of developers (like Ubisoft) announced they are happy MS isn't doing the drm/second hand games restriction shit way. Makes you think (probably not).

@VillNess @slainta Only DriveClub is announced as a Plus Edition. The 3 indie games announced will be full titles. We don't know about the rest, time will tell.
I applaud them for have free games day 1, that's not easy on a new system and much better then some free dlc M$ is giving away in their day 1 edition when you ask me.

I don't give a shit about most multiplayer games. I like it in some games like Little Big Planet or racing games like Burnout Paradise but I could live without it.
That said I already have Plus and will continue to have it for the amazing amount of games I get to play. I'm from Europe and I argue that the service over there is a bit better then in the US but it's still a great service. I also like the huge discounts they give you on games and dlc and now even getting 1 game free every month for my new PS4 is just amazing and a great deal. Above that it's 10 bucks cheaper then M$ that only offer 2 Xbox360 games.

@Sun-Tzu-GE There aren't to many titles during the launch. I'm sure they'll add more after a year.

@JohnCro They change a lot of things that are usefull for gamers. You can choose what component of to game you like to download first, multiplayer or single player. You can start playing the sp game while downloading. You can broadcast your game, look at the game while your friend is playing and even take over the controls. They added a share button to the controller and a swipe pad. There is a stereo headphone jacket on your controller and you can use any headphone you want (Xbox needs a new type of headset). Sony as more exclusives studios unlike MS who is buying a few exclusives (who also will be playable on PC and later probably on PS4 if you see what happened last generation). After they sucker you in they stop caring. Sony is very positive for indie developers, the once that where on Xbox360 have horror stories to tell. PS4 gives you the change to replace your hard disk has better hardware, is 100$ cheaper. You need to use Plus (something like Live) to play online games but the rest is still free. Plus gives you at least 1 PS4 game each month for free and 3 PS3 and 2 PSVita titels.

This developer made some amazing games on the PSP.
I can't wait to see what they are doing on PS4 but I love what I've seen of the engine and I like the setting very much. If there was a developer that could get at the same awesome level as Naughty Dog it would be Ready at Dawn.

@bdixon76 You are right. And in the end the people who sell their game and get less money for them won't buy as quick a new game as they do now. And so these measures bite MS and game publishers in the ass.

@translucent17 True, so many exclusives on the PS3 even this year. That's why I think I'll buy a PS4.
Yes MS will go big on the exclusives for a few years but than they get less and less (if you don't count the Kinect crap). Sony is still going strong with it's exclusives that I care for.

@Rafiky77 I'm like you Rafiky77. My PS3 was my first console (I was frustrated with my PC gaming, it's cost and constant optimizing when developers didn't even try to push everything out of my system).

I'm very happy with my choice for PS3. I love all the exclusives and they way they support the system even this year and the future. The last 3 years the presentations for the Xbox for E3 where horrible. Almost exclusively Kinect stuff and I don't care for that. Also Plus and free online is great and works good.

That in mind I'm very much looking at PS4 for next gen.
Now we had 2 presentations and there are still a lot of questions to be answered but the fact Sony is going so much for the games (indies, triple A's, exclusives) I'm again leaning in their direction. Many indie developers have been complaining about MS. I don't see MS change that. They'll try to win me over like they did with Xbox360 but after a few years exclusives got less and less.

The tv stuff MS is showing I don't care for (like you) and I also know that it'll take very long (if ever) to get that service to my little country (the Netherlands). I think that is what many Europeans think about those features.

So taking in consideration the past and present I think I choose for PS4 in the future. Maybe, if exclusives on One are amazing (not I don't care for shooters) I maybe consider a Box in the far future.
