I support valve...they can take all my money if 3 or episode 3 is ever announced....They are a great company, and the franchise is just amazing, better than any FPS I have played lately.
Either way this next gen sounds really expensive, it's too early for a new generation of systems. I also do not like the fact that used games cannot be played, which would be a bad idea because not everyone has the same luxary lthat some people have.
Backwards compatiability I hope that it will stay in the new gens, because I honestly want to get whats my moneys worth, if thats not the case, then I will be waiting for a price drop.
You know...usually when it comes to new consoles and games, they are never met up to there promises at first glance, so I say it's a bit too early for this generation. Some people just got a ps3, xbox or wii. So it's too early for the shift, give it about 2015 or so and hopefully just hopefully things will go correctly and met up the expectations.. As for the next gen games, I hope they are either the 50-60 dollar price tag, I will not move on to the next gen systems if they are 70 +. That's just ugly to me espically in this recession.
I play competitive fightings games, and I would LOVE to teach some people who want to play good and get better at it so they can enjoy it. When it comes to fighting games, they need to imprrove on a few things. Motion tutorials-Yea, I mean it's dumb, but you gotta think about it, people will never understand a shoryuken motion or reverse shoryuken motion if your literaly new in the fighting game genre. They should provide some movement tuorial like how to dash or how you parry or block or cancel attacks. That's all part of movement. Should also provide the types of motions so that people can understand whats a half circle or a quater circle forward. Combos-We all want to impress people with how good we can get, perhaps showing a video before you actually doing it can work. Some people actually want to know when ti put in the assist or know when to perform the move and chain it to another move. The last and essiential to me is Charcter ability-Rather with the dull list of how to perform moves, we should see a video in the training mode how to perform the special move so some new folks can be like "Oh so thats a hadouken." So all in all the fighting game community needs to improve on good sportsmanship and gameplay elements in order to give a more popular and satisfying experience.
What makes it so addicting among the oher smiliar games? Makes me wonder. Oh well i like angry birds but it gets redundant at one point...espically the asian challenge
Oh boy...COD is going to be super hyped...so hyped that the fanboys will not noticed its the same recycled games..Battlefield looks very interesting however knowing that I am not really into FPS's. Battlefield will look like the most under rated game...
