I got the steel book version for about 50 bucks thru Amazon, because of Amazon Prime's automatic early purchase discount (if the game comes from Amazon directly). Think it's 20% discount (which amounts to 12 dollars off for 60 dollar games), during the Pre-order period thru 2 weeks after release, but they often run out of copies during the 2 weeks after (most likely purposely, which would explain why they always run out of copies after a release).
Also, they've block screenshots, which the PS4 reminds you about everytime you unlock an achievement (which pretty much sucks, if you like browsing thru your achievements to look at what screenshot snapped with it.)
@beder: I don't buy it... I basically get it for free every year by using their Credit Card when buying from their site during sales. Just Google Capital One Playstation Credit Card. Interest Rate sucks, but I always pay in full on all my cards.
@PCsama: Console wars? I don't see the connection there. As I understand it, developers cater to consoles because it's where the real money is at. And consoles will never open themselves to modding, because they get their money from licensing agreements. Agreements that often limit the number of free updates before Sony/Microsoft start charging the developer for them. Which was one of the reasons why Valve avoided the console market back when they made games. And why L4D2's free content on the PC was not free for the Xbox360 or at least from what I can remember.....
I hope they bother to dub this one.... having to read subtiltes while playing is impossible, without constantly pausing the game to read the text history.
