will be funny being "that guy" who has waited for the people who've tapped the hell out that cube, and spent money on doing so effectively, for your one or two simple taps at the end of that object's cycle to crack it. I'd be interested to know the fury of those who HAD gone as insanely mad as to have spent so much on a diamond chisel and had some guy come-in at the end and out tap them.
I have just logged out of an hour's worth of max payne multiplayer. and regardless of how unlikely I believe a 2012 release for GTA will be, I'm now starting to hope that it WILL be sooner rather than later!. I had hoped that I could quite happily enjoy playing Max until the likely Spring 2013 GTAV release, but Max is SO buggy! major "cover / dodge / melee" command lag issues. The sooner GTA replaces Max as Rockstar's current multiplayer, the better.
@c0kemusheen Absolutely dude. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has slightly negative feedback for the new Max Multiplayer experience. It's still a well balanced, engaging, motivating game (life starts at level 20! some of those big juicy unlocks a that level will certainly have me going back until I've got them!), but I often feel there were shots - and this isn't just me being petulant or sulky - that SHOULD have blown the other guy's face-off... dodges that SHOULD have let that bullet slam into the wall behind and not me, cover that I should have snapped into and not still be stood by a filing cabinet in the Branco Headquarters... compared to the fluidity of RdR and the earlier GTA, it most certainly does fall a little short. Guess I'll see you in the maps next year when the big one drops huh ;)
I am very relieved to hear that San Diego will be taking the controls for this one. RdR's multiplayer was / is probably my most enjoyed third person PvP and co-op experience ever. Not just for the stunning presentation and play-style, but the reliability of the game's controls. Sure, there were problems with the servers when you were trying to actually trying to log-in to a session on occasion, but I guess that's to be expected with such a vastly subscribed game. The Maps were literally FULL of players for such a long period of time following RdR's release. Now compared to Max Payne (which I'm currently enjoying in Multiplayer), I'm not 100% sure Rockstar Vancouver have done AS good a job as San Diego. VERY buggy. Still fun! But definitely not as fluid as RdR. But anyway, this is GTA. The big one. The culmination of all of Rockstar's advances over the last three game's worth of release cycles. The depth of character and tech from L.A. Noire, The superb multiplayer / free roam advances from RdR. ... This will be a "purchase at midnight launch" title for me. In my dressing gown and slippers if I have too!!
this is looking amazing. and for "THIS" very special license to be presided over by Mr Pitchford himself? I can't see how this can fail. REALLY looking forward to owning this game.
