Runescape and World of Warcraft. My colossal backlog is in huge part due to five years I've spent playing these games.

This thread is from 2010; Only one post before you was from today.

Damn. I missed that. Thanks for letting me know.

I would have contributed with some screenshots but the uploader isn't working. :/

You gave Dear Esther a 10?SKaREO

Yes I did. I found it to be a really enjoyable experience. I absolutely loved the environments and found it really intriguing trying to extrapolate themes, symbols and plot development from what was written in the game. It's very enjoyable if you know what you're getting into and you're aware that the presentation is unorthodox and not like an actual "game", per se.

What would you have given it? I assume you have a pretty strong opinion of it if you're willing to bring it up in a thread that is completely unrelated to the way I've scored my games.

Hey guys. Thought I'd make a brief return back to the Gamespot forums. I'm bored on a summer night, anxiously waiting for Canada Day tomorrow, and don't feel like doing much else as I gotta hit the sack soon and wake up tomorrow morning.

Anyway...I was doing some thinking, pondering on the fact that I still don't really have much strategy games in my collection. Strategy games are a genre that I've always been a little ambivalent towards delving into simply because I just plain suck at them. Most strategy games contain a refined player base, many players having played the games for a long period of time and I'm not sure if I'd be able to compete in that regard.

I already have a lot of games in the genres that I do enjoy and I still have an immense backlog that I need to get through; a backlog that I'll probably never finish since I have a sizeable abundance of RPGs that I have yet to even get started on. However, I can't help but feel the need to "spice" my collection up a little bit. I just generally feel like trying something a little new, treading some unfamiliar territory.

Does anyone have any good recommendations in regards to good strategy games I should get started with? Preferably addictive ones with bot matches? I was thinking of starting off with some city builders (stuff like Sim City series, Anno series), but I'm not entirely sure.

Assassin's Creed 2 is much better, but the first game is really not all that long a playthrough if you're worried about missing some fundamental aspects of the series by skipping on it. You really won't miss much by skipping the first one since the second game delivers exactly what the first game does and better (storyline provides more player involvement, missions are more varied, etc.). However, the first one will still deliver a good and I'll even dare say memorable experience if you can get past the repetitive mission design. The first one even has cool environments as well.

Sorry in advance if this has been posted already.

The video is basically about a very pissed off lady that's showing up a bunch of employees at Dunkin' Donuts because the lady taking her order a day prior to this video forgot to give her a receipt.

Purely disgusting. The employees in the video handled it all real well. What do you guys think?
