I Personally think that V and VI need remakes since IV already got some remakes plus a sequel. Everybody knows that Final Fantasy was the best when it was on the SNES. Everybody praises VII's story. It was good, but... Familiar... to anybody that played VI. And took just a bit of time to compare the two. I Personally put all of the NES and SNES FF games above VII, with IX also surpassing it in my opinion. V is far too underrated, and VI in my opinion was so much better for its time than VII, which borrowed quite a bit from VI. Bottom line: Show the SNES more love!

In my opinion, Miyamoto could have walked out, said "Pikmin 3" and left the stage and ended the conference. It would still be a successful press conference in my eyes.

@KaonGheta Sorry to say, but Melee was far more balanced than Brawl was, especially with the current metagame of each.

@Ainion Also, one more note: Olimar is the second best character in the game, so don't go acting as if beating MK with Olimar is some great accomplishment.

@Ainion Wired controllers make everything easier by the way. Syncing controllers is the dumbest thing on the history of the planet, not to mention batteries and the risk of the controller disconnecting during the heat of battle. With wired controllers, you don't need to worry. It's also easier for tournaments, as they have multiple consoles. What if two people are syncing their controllers at once and they end up syncing to the wrong console? (I've seen it happen before...) Also, wired controllers don't have any kind of delay, and believe it or not, wired controllers have slight delay to them.Your statement about beating computers at level 9 is meaningless, and even if you can, say, beat a friend who mains Metaknight, it means that he's not a pro player, not that Metaknight isn't overpowered. Why do you think Metaknight was banned from tournament play earlier this year? Sorry if this post seems a bit harsh, but I thought I'd correct you on a few things before you make your claim that the writer of this article is wrong.

@Poodger Melee is not well known for people only playing on FD. We play on 5 or 6 legal stages, Final destination is only one of them... In fact our stage list is growing since the unity board disbanded recently, and some tourney's even include stages like Rainbow Cruise. Also, 64 isn't a cheap party game, as it actually has a small community dedicated to competitive play, and a tournament for the game was held at APEX 2012, a huge fighting game tourney.

@kkthesonicfan The competitive scene of Melee is far deeper than that of Brawl, which is why Many people prefer Melee. The people who share the opinion are generally competitive players,, though it's not always the case. Before I got into competitive Melee, I just preferred Melee because it was faster paced, and I didn't like how floaty everybody in Brawl was. Now I just like Melee better because It's just a better game in terms of competitive play.

In my eyes, they only really need 2 things:Balanced CharactersBalanced Gameplay between Casual(Brawl) and Competitive(Melee)That's all they need to do for me to buy the game. Until then, I'll stick with Melee and Project M.

@primalwanderer To be fair he wasn't incorrect. Metaknight is pretty imbalanced no matter how you play the game, even from a casual standpoint. Even a casual player can mash B all day and then Up B when the opponent gets at high enough damage...
