A "social network exclusively built for gaming" would not be exclusively on one platform. All other social networks have plugins and apps allowing you to update them and check them from a wide variety of devices from PCs to Phones.
Nintendo doesn't know what they're doing, as usual. But they've never understand about online.
People don't like yearly releases because when you do it the games suck.
Look at the difference between AC1 and AC2, then AC2 and Brotherhood and Revolutions. It's the same damn game with small pointless additions (tower defense? REALLY?).
Neither game is as good as AC2 was. Neither game advances your series. And Guitar Hero has already shown proof of what spamming releases does to your series - it doesn't make it relevant, it makes it crap.
A good game takes 2.5 years to develop, MINIMUM. Any less and we know you cut corners.
@bigcrusha YES, it is Kotick's fault for exploiting consumer stupidity. That's like suggesting a criminal who scams people isn't to blame since the people were dumb enough to get scammed. They are guilty of crimes and would get convicted as such.
Just like EA and Activision is guilty of crimes against gaming by churning out this garbage too quickly and with minimal effort. So you are, quite simply, wrong.
@bigcrusha @Thanatos2k The fault of the decline of quality gaming obviously lies with THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE IT. Consumers sure as hell aren't coding the games.
And yes, Activision is entirely to blame for the abysmal COD series.
