Here is my situation. I have a retail warranty (1 year) from gamestop on my 360 that lasts until Jan. 7th. My 360 finally died this week, and I assume they will let me exchange it for a new 360. Is there any way to transfer the data to my new 360's hard drive without spending a ridiculous amount of money on a 360 memory card?

Of all the reviews to get fired over, Kane and Lynch? Really? Are you being serious, suits? I mean, yea he tells the truth about games that are quite frankly not good 80% of the time. Just because they are paying for advertisements on your site doesn't mean he shouldn't give an accurate review (Hour of Victory comes to mind also).

I liked it until my OCD tendencies kicked in and I just set gambits up to auto attack to grind to 99 on everyone. My biggest complaint about the battle system was the summons were some of the coolest summon graphics ever in a final fantasy yet they were utterly useless.

There is nothing wrong with the ps3 hardware-wise at all except the needless complexity of the cell architecture. It's more reliable than the 360, but the 360 has the games, and the games are what matters most here at Gamespot. There is simply no reason to own a ps3 right now unless you are into blu-ray movies or 6 hour action games (I am into these but am in no way into them $400-like). I guess I forget about Ratchet, but I've always despised that series for some reason.

Blue Dragon is one of my favorite games of the year. It's a great throwback to old-school JRPGS with some great, unique ways to lower the grind time (field barrier). I would recommend starting out on hard mode (download the pack off live) because without it the game is extremely easy IMO.

Worst poster in system wars, easily. I can't even understand what you are trying to say...

I'm curious - How does it feel knowing that there are more JRPGS in development AND out on the 360? There is nothing slated JRPG-wise for 2008 release dates except White Knight Story and Eternal Sonata (360 already has this), and those are JAPANESE release dates. Eternal Sonata sales here were probably pretty abysmal, so who knows if they will even bring that to the US. There is no way I see White Knight Story making it out in 2008 in US. I'm not a fanboy of any system, but I have really been waiting for some awesome, exclusive J-RPGS to come out for the PS3, and it looks like I'll be waiting until 2009-2010 (I will buy a ps3 just for Final Fantasy most likely).

There's no bias involved at all; get real. VanOrd just has terrible taste in games and a love for stirring up system wars :)

Nice one, VanOrd. Eternal Sonata = Mass Effect/Metroid Prime 3. Do you have any concept of the current rating system, or the definition of "Contradiction" that happens CONSTANTLY in the writing in your reviews?
