so much for "360 Final Fantasy", the reason i dislike the 360 is because it cant produce good games in genres other than shooters, basically where the 360 fails the ps3 dominates

It's domination in RPGs (which is what we are talking about) must be pretty amazing right? Oh wait, there's a total of 4 RPGS that anyone has ever heard of in development for the ps3, and none of them will be coming to the U.S. until 2009. Action/Adventure games you have a point on, atleast. The only thing 360 has is Kameo, and I didn't enjoy that game much.

You've probably heard it before because it's an incredibly, incredibly stupid signature. Crysis is in no way shape or form the best FPS released ever; It's not even the best FPS released this year. Orange Box (PC) - offers much more than Crysis, and I would also argue that Bioshock was much, much better than Crysis. The other 3 games aren't even out yet with one or 2 being border-line vaporware (Spore, Dragonforce). If these games are released, I have no doubt they will be fantastic, but to claim they are the "best" is well...... dumb.
Here is a legitimate 360 story for you. Out of the "next-gen" consoles I only own a 360. It finally died a week ago. I bought it this January. I have owned pretty much every console (before this gen) EVER MADE. I've never babied a console more than I have the 360. I made sure everything was properly ventilated, rubbed it with a diaper, and gave the keys to a shady looking latin gentleman. I've used past consoles (SNES comes to mind) as doorstops, and they still work to this day. I laughed as all my friend's 360s were dying. "Haha, you should of kept it better ventilated man", I said. Out of about 11 friends, EVERY SINGLE 360 has died. If the failure rate for the first batch of 360's was anything less than 80%, I would honestly be shocked.
You guys have first hand experience doing this at a retail place like Gamestop etc.? I'm asking seriously because it seems like kind of a shady business practice from a retail standpoint and keeping all the x's and o's in check.
While I appreciate the need for quality threads such as "GEARS OF WAR SUCCKs" to be on the first page of these forums, I would enjoy at the least a clueless response.
