I love Troy Baker, but honestly he's too recognisable as Troy Baker and I really don't want to know he's there. They could've at least made him change up his accent to disguise his presence. It really takes away from the character.
@pimphand_gamer: Sure, but the complaints would've been significantly less. The cheaper a product is, the less annoying their flaws are. That's just the way it goes. The more you charge for your product, the higher the quality people expect from it, and hence, NMS received maximum hate because it asked for maximum price.
@brandsome: I've got a feeling the 60 USD price tag is more Sony than HG. I think in hindsight, it was a mistake to rely on Sony to distribute this game. Sure, it made a tonne of money in the process, but it's damaged HG's reputation almost beyond repair. In the long term, it wasn't worth selling themselves to Sony in order to get better exposure for the game.
Imagine the game launching at only 30 USD instead? The controversy would be far less severe. It should have been an Early Acess game at 15-20 USD, and then launch years later at 30 USD.
This was a terrible article that stated nothing but the obvious. I personally thought Thanos' motivations were idiotic and that ruined the character for me.
My guess? Some disgruntled Bethesda employee quit their job and threatened to reveal Starfield and ES6, and so Bethesda forced the announcements themselves to counter it.
I can't wait until they get past all the PR bs and finally reveal how to plan to make money off this game. Microtransactions and what not, because that is what BGS has been reduced to these days. The whole point of Fallout 4 was to support the Creation Club.
Thor 3 isn't unique, though, it's simply following the GOTG formula of putting comedy first, and story second. They made Thor "fun" rather than serious, which helps the box office takings, but does little to help enhance the character himself, nor the universe he inhabits.
Black Panther has some new creative elements, such as the responsibility of leadership, exploring the downsides of isolationism, but it's also formulaic in action and humour, plus it's introduction of "racism" in the MCU is ham fisted, because before this movie, racism did not exist in the MCU.
