@Stefsi91 @PETERAKO And what if George Washington was a hermaphrodite? "What if" is an endless, pointless analogy. In the end, "what is" is all that matters. If we buy into this, they are going to milk us for everything they can with this pointless "what if" analogy.

Assassin's Creed 4 DLC; Abraham Lincoln doesn't actually free the slaves.

@StickyJr1 Kudos. I'd say any arguments on this page are over now.

@kozzy1234 @blackace The book wasn't titled L.A. Noir. It was titled L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City.

If I were Frank Darabont, I downright wouldn't want my work to have the same title as something else, especially one recently released. Would you want your work to be mistaken for something else when the title is mentioned? I remember the misconception for the Steven Seagal movie, The Patriot. Whenever we hear that title, we automatically picture Mel Gibson's movie.

@Dirk_McHardpeck @TC_Squared I don't quite get why you made this response to me. I'm a strong supporter of the Second Amendment.

@i_like_pie223 Great point. It made me think of something else: violent movies. Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, The Departed, Reservoir Dogs, Good Fellas, Scarface, Saving Private Ryan. The typical fans of those movies are the most mature, least violent people. If video games are making people violent, like they are claiming, why aren't movies doing the same. It is far easier to see a violent movie than it is to play a violent game, simply due to the expenses. Also, movies have been around far longer than video games.

@ElFlechero You make a great point: Mental Health. If that is the cause/issue, video games are excessively beside the point. For example, If mental health is the cause--which was for Kip Kinkel; I know a man who guards his cell--a person can shoot up a school and not realize they did it. Mental Health Condition means that they have a chemical imbalance in the brain. Video games don't cause that.

Even if video games do have an effect--which I don't believe--it would be entirely beside the point. Many murders are because their spouse was being unfaithful. Should we outlaw adultery because it can cause another person to murder? NO! A person should be held responsible for their own actions. Don't be penalizing all people for a few peoples actions. With that kind of "logic", after Nixon committed the Watergate Scandal, we should be penalizing every president after him so that it will never happen again.
