@Bumblebee1138 Your point proves that DLC is being milked for everything it's worth. They're even selling DLC that "doesn't really happen."

@Arda_Daghan212 @TC_Squared @Stefsi91 @PETERAKO Assassin's Creed isn't based on "what if"...not originally at least, and certainly not to such degree. Your targets in the original Assassin's Creed were based on actual people who were assassinated. The boss in AC2 was the actual Pope Alexander VI, who was actually accused of corruption, and survives at the end of the game so that it does not defy history. The impression that I got from AC1 to now is that they were basing it on actually history, only filling in the unknown with well created possibilities [ones you know aren't true, but enjoy because they're possible]. This DLC is downright defying. Now, if they had done such since the beginning, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I would see it as though that's what AC is all about. After all, I'm a fan of Resistance: Fall of Man. But with it coming in now, contradicting the previous titles, I find it to be a kick in the nads.

Now that's a great argument, @07jonesj . Kudos.

@Stefsi91 @TC_Squared @07jonesj @EliOli Please quote me when I referred to Washington as a saint.

I understand it's a "what if", but "what if"s" have boundaries. When people say "What if we were able to keep up with our intelligence and prevent September 11th?" we all reply "Oh, that could have happened." If someone said "What if we create a time-machine and go back and undo it?" we would all reply "That's ignorant", or even possibly "That defies reality."

@07jonesj @EliOli He had the chance to be king, and he turned it down. He had the chance to be President a third term, and he turned it down. It's not just the fact that such never happened, it's that such is entirely out of his character. George Washington downright never wanted great power. If they had made it about King Alexander Hamilton, it would be more historically fitting, and I would find myself far more interested in it.

@MEFreak1984 You're comparing creating Street vs X-Men to already "created" history. Why?

@Stefsi91 @TC_Squared @Bumblebee1138 EVERYTHING that has happened since AC1 is an important factor of how Desmond Miles is where he is. If Alair dies, a paradox occurs. The decisions of George Washington play a very important role on how America became what it is. If George Washington became a king, it would create a paradox of Desmond Miles life experience from AC1 to the current.

@Bumblebee1138 Alternate: An occurrence of things by turn.

I don't have a problem with an alternate story. In fact, I love such. That's what side quests are. I hate paradox. That's exactly what this is.

@Stefsi91 @TC_Squared @PETERAKO "had he in one moment chosen the other side".

That is a "what if".

@07jonesj @TC_Squared I didn't make a suggestion. What the heck are you talking about? Did you even read what I was responding to?
