Here's what I don't get: Battlefront III would probably sell well over a million copies, maybe even 2 million. The first two games were very popular. So.... does LucasArts just not like money or....?

@kurnlklank @Elite_Bushido Oh yeah, forgot about the Lego Star Wars games. Those were great too. But still, even if you count those, that's still like 5 or 6 years ago now...

@mikeyMKII Because that was definitely the Star Wars game we all wanted.

I swear Lucasarts is run by monkeys these days.

@Elite_Bushido There were tons of awesome Star Wars games over the last two generations of consoles. But this gen they have just dropped the ball. The last great Star Wars game I can think of was, oddly enough, Battlefront II. And that came out what, like 7 years ago?

LucasArts is right up there with Capcom in the "used-to-be-cool-but-now-they-suck-ass-and-nobody-likes-them-anymore" category.

@Ometh It's not Activition's fault that millions of people buy their copy and paste CoD games. I would keep making CoD games too if I could rake in money that easy. Blame the people that buy this crap, not Activition.

@HiImUPSMan Capcom used to be one of my favorite companies, but as of late they can just go suck on a railroad spike. Seriously, hiding 12 playable characters on the disc and charging $20 for them later? That's greed at its finest.

@Kiriyama_X Nowadays people just go out and preorder the second they see a trailer for something. I personally don't really get it...

This is why the popularity of CoD annoys me so much. It scares other developers away from trying something new with the FPS genre. And you can't really blame them either. Why spend tons of money and time working on a fresh FPS game when everyone is just going to flock to the new copy and pasted CoD game instead? It sucks. F you CoD, you need to just go away already.
