@DAOWAce Just because people believe it's better does not make it so. Once again a case of people thinking bigger numbers means better. Believe what you like. I personally think Ubisoft is doing the right thing. Also, this has nothing to do with PC's. This article is referring to PS4 and Xbox One. Who's trolling now.
@GRADERBLADE13 Perhaps not excessive, but unnecessary. A game running at 30 fps @ 1080p will look better than a game running 60 fps @ 720p. People think 60 fps is better just because it's a higher number. 30 fps is fluid motion to the human eye.
30 fps is more than fast enough. I'd bet that they're planning on going 30 fps with 1080p. Faster fps doesn't make a game look better, just run smoother, whereas a higher resolution (1080p vs 720p) does make a significant difference in the visuals of a game. 30 fps is a very smooth framerate. 60 fps is excessive and is simple a bulletpoint on the back of a box and gives a developer something to brag about.
I've already preordered and paid for my PS4 and a copy of Killzone, so basically, for $40 I'm getting an extra controller and the camera which is an awesome deal. I really really really hope this bundle comes to North America.
@aovannor If you believe that Rockstar is unaware of the demand for its games on PC, then you obviously don't think of Rockstar very highly. In fact, I would stop playing their games if I were you, because you're playing a game made by idiots in your eyes.
@PeterDuck Rockstar is not a government entity, therefore a petition has about as much power as a fart. If you are under the impression that Rockstar is truly unaware of the demand for GTA V on PC, then you're giving them no credit whatsoever. A more worthwhile approach would be to email Rockstar. When they see that their fanbase has take the effort to send them emails, they may listen, but a petition is just a list of names. They will see the list and say "Wow, 500,000+ ( or whatever the final number ends up equating to)"
Why does this petition matter at all? I mean sure, it tells Rockstar that people want Grand Theft Auto V for the PC, but they really have no obligation to do anything they don't want to.
I'm sure if they want to release this game for PC, PS4, or Xbox One they will. I'm sure that they're aware of people desire to see it on a PC...I think they'd have to be blind to not see the desire. Just be patient.
Gamers are angry, because people like being angry. People like having opinions and like sharing those opinion even more. People do not know how to express ideas and debate in a civilized manner. Fighting on the internet equates to a elementary school playground. Lots of hair-pulling, name-calling and occasionally leading to actual violence.
I think this just goes to show that people never really grow up.
