Why does anyone listen to Peter Molyneux? Everything is does is always 95% hype, never actually lives up to it's original premise and is all gimmick. If any of the fable games ever actually delivered what he promised, they would have been revolutionary, but they didn't. He talks a good game, but he really doesn't seem like the kind of person who people need to be listening to on this.
Also, ever notice, whenever Peter Molyneux is about to come out with some new game, he prefaces the release with some big announcement and the announcements always go something like " Remember that cool thing I did like 25 years ago? well, I'm gonna try to do that again, and this time boobs and awesome and magic!"
I have yet to see anything new from him give me boob, awesome or magic...sigh
Just a thought, but most FPS games ( CoD, Battlefield, etc...) have had military consultation when making these games, with no known disciplinary action taken. I personally think this is just a publicity stunt. I suppose I could be wrong, but it's probably just to keep the game fresh in peoples minds, so more people buy it.
Sounds to me like Microsoft is looking to make a handheld and this will be their way to do it. Wouldn't be surprised if the "Xbox surface" or whatever they end up calling it has some form of connectivity with the "Xbox 720" or whatever they end up calling it.
Sony says this because they know they've lost. There is no way they can make up marketshare at this point. Nintendo owns the handheld console market in Japan. This is like the Tortoise and the Hare. Except when the tortoise is saying "Slow and steady wins the race", the Hare is about 3/4 of the way finished. Nintendo knows people want fun. Sony is trying to recreate a home console experience on a handheld, which is in my opinion problem numero uno.
@redskinStu Lacks the understanding of what the word abosolute means. There are things MORE retarded than twitter...I'm sure of it. When I find something I will let you know.
I never used facebook or twitter on Xbox anyhow. I'm sure if millions of people were using the program, they would be aware of the demand for it and keep it on there, but if there's no need for it, they would also be aware of it.
How do you have spoilers for a racing game? "So you're in this machine, right? AND there's wheels on it! AND when there's this steering device inside it and when you turn this thing the machine turns and the machine moves. "You drive on roads!"
