But the thing is (forgot to mention), I have a laptop fan, but it still does that...

My gaming PC lags...

I have a Gateway FX with 4GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo for my processor, Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTS 1GB graphics card, and Windows 7. It used to be Windows Vista 64x, but I upgraded it to Windows 7 32x. (This might be the problem, but I will need expert opinion.)

I always clean my computer by defragmenting, disk cleanup, and clearing RAM by closing a whole bunch of programs. Yet, the game lags in a wave fashion: First, it runs smoothly, then all of a sudden, it slows down for about 10 min in the game. After that, it smooths out, then it does it again! The second time is always 2x as long! I had really good game performance before whatever happened to my computer; it was running Crysis in everything High pretty good with like 24 fps. Now, I'm just running Civilization 4, and it slows down SO MUCH. Fallout 3 was smooth, then when I played it again, it does the same EXACT thing! Oblivion suffers the same fate. Fallout New Vegas: not even the patch AND non-lag mods can save its fate!I played Medieval 2: Total War, no sweat. Everything was on AT LEAST High, and it looked very real from an angle. When I zoomed in, I could see every single fight going one with each and every individual character. Now, I have to turn it to LOW, and it STILL LAGS!

Please, this has been a major issue for the last few months I've had this problem, and I don't want to upgrade, help me!

Hey guys, please help me. The gal i like was well one her way to going out with me, until i got mad at another person and she called me a jerk. So now, if i smile at her, she doesnt smile back.:( And when i wave, she doesnt wave back.:cry: Please help me how to get her out of the black list.
