DAoC is a great game indeed and you will be hooked for a good while if it has been a long time since you last played. The game has died quite a bit, but you could still have fun and level with no problems. I agree that the PVP is better than any other MMO out there, but it is also one of the main reasons I quit. Once you hit lvl 50 and enter the New Frontiers PVP becomes boring and frustrating, especially for new players. You will constantly be pounded by the high ranked leet 8 man grps. Earning realm points becomes very tedious then. But you could halt your levels to 20 or 35 to remain in the popular battlegrounds heh, thats always an option.

I feel the same way. I love PC gaming but I don't care for staying up to date on the latest technology anymore. I plan on staying a couple years behind from now on. As long as my comp is good enough to run a game thats all I really care about. I'm not picky about running games on max settings. If a game refuses to run on a mid or lower end PC I simply wont buy it.

Dark Age of Camelot is fun, and you can get to the max level in no time. The only problem is pvp. It's fun and unique, but it can also be boring and frustrating for newer lower ranked players.

I played DAoC a couple months ago on the classic servers. In case you don't know, classic servers don't have ToA (trials of atlantis content). I remember quitting a couple years back due to ToA. But anyways, I had fun. Player base is low of course. Finding lowbiegroupscould be hard sometimesThe classic servers have the highest population. But there's nothing wrong with joining regular or pvp servers either. I didn't have trouble leveling 1-50. I'm not sure if your familiar withthe Catacombs expansion. It makes leveling much easier with the task dungeons, which you can do ina group or solo. You can basically do task dungeons from lvl 1-50, though it could be a little boring. DAoC is the best MMO out there in my opinion, but of course it has its share of flaws. I'll probably return once again sooner or later. RvR is still fun, the new frontiers are cool and all. It's kind of hard for newer players in RvR though. Getting rolled by high ranked and organized groups all the time could really test your patience sometimes. Well, thats all I have to say about it.

Neither. I say Dark Age of Camelot. It's the best MMO in my opinion. It does have it's flaws, and it does get boring, but I always seem to come back. It beats the hell out of WoW...
