To me it would be Shantae and the pirate's curse.

Best Metroidvania game I've played in awhile.

Seems like people enjoy hyping the game more than playing the game itself.

I never was interested in Evolve seeing as how it was designed from the ground up to be one big cash grab DLC season pass fest.

Personally I prefer receiving the complete package when I pay full price for a game. I'm not paying $60 for a glorified demo and then have the developers trickle the rest of the game over the coming months.

If developers don't want to give us the full game at launch, then they should stop charging us full price at launch.

Agreed. It's a pretty sad time for gaming when we have people actively defending getting less features in their full priced games. I've said it before that I'm really not a fan of developers withholding content in their games for no good reason.

Either give me the full game or don't. Don't sit there throwing scraps at me every month.

Didn't like the first one, not going to bother with the second.

The problem with Other M (and even Prime 3 Corruption to an extent) was that there was too much focus on story and characters when Metroid was supposed to be about atmosphere and isolation. I hated the fact that they gave Samus this poorly written backstory when I preferred it more when she was silent and mysterious.

The gameplay was serviceable enough but as I mentioned before the lack of atmosphere killed it for me.
