Single card, that's pretty amazing performance.

I bought two 1080 for SLI, and although if I waited I would have got 2 1080ti in SLI, I am still more than happy with the performance I am getting at 4K or UHD (3440x1440). It's absolutely insane they released the ti for the same price as the 1080 hybrid, but that's the business.

Best news ever. This game will look gorgeous - I hope it supports SLI (I have 2 1080 hybrids). I purposely avoided any spoilers and details about the game hoping it would make it to PC. The fact that they're playing around with it is a good starting point.

Dumbest AI I've ever seen in a game. Absolute trash excuse of a "tactical shooter". But it's Ubisoft, so I have no expectations anymore. Glad I avoided buying this game and thank god for the beta or else I would have been lulled into buying it.

What's sad is that it would have been an amazing game with better programming and a little more thought into immersion. The standard for me is Killzone or FEAR in terms of gameplay and "smart" AI. The game looks pretty though at 4K, I'll give it that. Too bad the 1080 SLI was not working during beta. Hopefully that was one of the fixes with the patch, but even so graphics aren't a substitute for non-immersive gameplay. Even the pig didn't run away when you shoot near it.

@lithus: I respect different opinions. I am not saying there's no skill curve (there is one), but you lose getting immersed in combat staring at which direction you need to move the right stick. I'd rather have a Dark Souls style combat where I am focused on enemy moment and sounds, visual cues that will alter my next movement. Weapons that actually move based on their size and weight. All that was lost on me when all I had to do was time my defensive direction and plan my counter attack or shove. It has potential to be a great combat system, but it needs work to feel fluid. This game is 100% based on combat to stay interested - it has to avoid becoming stale.

I personally don't think this game is even worth $40, let alone for the season pass. It's a pretty game graphically, actually supports 21:9 and high resolutions out of the beta (I played smoothly at 3440x1440), but the content is so blah. The combat is semi interesting at best, but not rocket science. I took part in the closed beta last month and was not impressed.

Razer Ouroboros is the best mouse I've ever owned. Previous things included Corsair M65 and Logitech G502. They are great mice, don't get me wrong, but they don't compare to the quality and ergonomics of the Ouroboros.

Disclaimer - i'm lefty =)

@snaketus: This is totally subjective. If you are playing from across the room on a TV screen, than I agree with you that MSAA is wasteful. If you play on a 25" monitor and you sit fairly far away from it, than MSAA is wasteful. If you are playing on a bigger monitor like I am (34") and sitting close, than you're wrong. AA will be required if you want to avoid seeing jagged edges all together. While it becomes less apparent at 4K versus 1080p, it's still very noticeable if you turn off AA. The motion blur and dof is a personal preference, and doesn't affect frame rate much in either direction.

@Rufus_the_rat: 4K monitors can be cheap, but you're getting a cheap monitor. A decent size 4K monitor with GSYNC (or the equivalent) will run you $1000 for 28"+. I bought the ASUS ROG P348q and it was $1,300. It's truly an amazing monitor, and if you're going to spend money building a 4K system, better appreciate it at it's finest.

That will run 4K at about 25-30 FPS if you're lucky. Plus, that price doesn't include the monitor - which adds another $1,000+ to the price tag for a top quality one.

I spent $5,000 on my 4K desktop plus monitor and it will run everything at 60 FPS.

The article listed here is about half of what you need to get a "PC" experience (meaning getting 60 FPS versus the console 30 fps experience).
